The sheer, unadulterated WTFery of some Edwardian postcards just absolutely enchants me. For example - here we have a child smoking away happily with a bottle of champagne.
New Year’s inspired these “Kiddies with Champagne” postcards in many European countries. Because, obviously, when you think of celebrating NYE with a glass of champagne, you want to split it with a 5 year old.
